Racing:
Owned and raced a Laser in my twenties (now 59), male
Crewed as a jib trimmer on a Thistle out of SSA, on a Jet-14, and once on a J-22
Have read several books on racing rules and strategy/tactics and gone through all of the UK Halsey rules quizzes
Consider myself an experienced novice who is willing to take orders, listen to advise and improve, be on time, and take blame for everything that goes wrong
Eventually, I want to memorize every racing rule and become a top quality tactician.
The faster the Multihull the better. Rough weather no problem.
Cruising:
Have cruised on a Alberg 37 and single handed and short-handed her on the Cheasapeake
Have done extensive repair work on the Alberg.
Willing to help any CMA member with repairs and tinkering on their multihull in exchange for stories, beer and grub.
Very good and resourcefull cook- be creative with what you've got.
Organized, neat, and believe in cleanliness. I do not smoke unless you have a great cigar or cherry pipe tobakki to offer.
No hard rock, no metallica - unless you want me to throw you overboard. Like jazz, classical, funk, oldies rock
Can go on cruises up to 10 days long. Married, but I have a long leash due to St. Bernardian loyalty.
