| Haul-out Options
Earlier in the year, I asked for membership help
in compiling a list of Chesapeake Bay marinas who could accommodate
haul-outs of large beamed vessels. Thanks to all those who
contributed. Originally, I thought the results should be limited to
yards that could handle a minimum of 25' beams. Not many can, so I
settled on a 20' beam. I imagine I've missed some marinas. If you
know of any please let me know and they will be added to the
inventory and posted on the CMA web site.
I included marinas with large travel lifts, marine
railways, and hydraulic trailers. So a marina might be able to haul
your boat out for service but not for storage. I've provided the
phone numbers, you will need to get the specifics.
